GABI’s mission is to provide communication services that enable seniors to live in their own homes longer.

GABI provides tools and services that link the expanding aging population to their care providers, family and friends. GABI is developing the Virtual Assisted Living Umbrella for Elders (VALUE), a combination of in-home and mobile telecare services that forms a communication safety net for Seniors. VALUE allows seniors to extend their independent life in a preferred environment while maintaining important care and social interactions, enabling ambient-assisted-living (ASL) for Seniors.

The key idea is to avoid the sense of insecurity, loneliness and isolation of the users, allowing them to keep living at home, improving their quality of life and consequently easing the physical and financial burden on those providing care. To accomplish this mission the GABI focuses on the convergence of video and conferencing, mobile telephony, and Internet technology. 

The GABI platform provides enhanced social interactions in a remote care-providing setting. The Company will integrate an initial product platform, and then extend the platform with enhanced services. Initial deployment will contain Video/Audio components, Text Messaging and Location Tracking, and Records management. Extensions will include biometric monitoring, social services, and additional portal offerings. GABI’s systems provide a platform for providing quality care in a cost effective program.
